NOVONO is a global interior architecture firm specializing in high-concept gastronomy, hospitality and temporary event spaces, as well as timeless private residences.
While our aesthetic heritage has northern European roots, our visual vocabulary reflects an international lifestyle that is passionately global, relevant, now.

Our work spans from eateries in Singapore to lofts in New York, from country houses in Sweden to residences all over Germany. However, our devotion to elegant naturalism and architectural excellence is steadfast, no matter the assignment.
We believe Le Corbusier’s creed that architecture is space and light and order. We create interiors that activate the senses, awaken the imagination and animate the heart.
WHO WE ARE
We are a Berlin and Gothenburg based team of young, multidisciplinary creatives dedicated to the practice of emotional, functional and - at all times - elegant design. Our diverse, highly motivated team of professionals includes interior designers, architects, graphic designers and project managers. We are thinkers, dreamers, wonderers and wanderers.
And the balance of all of these is NOVONO.
NOVONO’s founder and owner Nora von Nordenskjöld imagines and develops eclectic, iconic works that explore a rich emotional continuum, from whimsical play to the darkly dramatic. Her creative output pays homage to heritage and history, draws upon the harmonious cycles and patterns inherent in nature, and defies boundaries of contemporary design. At the core of her process is a native knack for technical precision and discipline, which she imbues with an exuberant, cosmopolitan spirit cultivated over 12 years living abroad, in 7 different countries, on 3 different continents.
Nora studied Fine Arts at Maastricht University in the Netherlands, graduating in 2001, then continued her education with a degree in Interior Architecture at Milan’s well reputed Instituto Europeo di Design in 2004. After graduating, Kokai Studios in Shanghai recruited Nora von Nordenskjöld where she quickly became Head of Interior Design and assumed Partnership.
In 2011 Nora von Nordenskjöld decided to found her own company in her native country and in Berlin, the world’s current creative capital. Under the label of NOVONO her curating has already garnered a strong international reputation, having completed by 2022 almost 200 projects.
With an unerringly grasp for trends, a gift for seamlessly blending both the science and poetry of design, and between tradition and innovation, she believes that what interior architecture is not what you see, but what you feel when entering a space.
